Longest Day 5K Race

Saturday night was the longest day 5K.
Really a crappy day all around and I was not prepared physically or mentally for this race.
But at the 11th hour we decided to do it anyway. I started out too fast and after about a mile and a half I walked about 30 seconds to get my HR back in line. Then I was able to better pace myself. I was shooting for a new PR and actually go it at 26.55. Not bad considering the day I had.
